Common names: Nicobar bamboo pitviper.[2]

Trimeresurus labialis is a venomous pitviper species endemic to the Nicobar Islands of India. No subspecies are currently recognized.[3]

Found only in the Nicobar Islands of India. The type locality given is "den Nikobaren."[1]
